Ben-Gurion University of the Negev - The Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research
The Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research invites applications for tenure-track positions in the following disciplines:
- Agrometeorology / micrometeorology / biometeorology. Quantification and modeling of fluxes in the atmospheric boundary layer at plot and catchment level.
- Biochemistry / physiology / molecular biology and genomic methodologies for the study of algal physiology, biochemistry and development of algal biomass production.
- Ecology and evolutionary biology. Special consideration will be given to applicants with expertise in applied aspects (e.g. conservation biology, restoration ecology, range management, etc.).
Applicants should hold a PhD degree in one of the above mentioned scientific fields as well as have completed a post-doctoral period at an accredited university or research institution.
The successful applicants are expected to develop independently funded research programs and to teach graduate courses in English at the Albert Katz International School for Desert Studies.
Applicants should submit a CV including a list of publications, an application letter that includes a brief description of intended research program (maximum three pages) and the names and addresses of three referees.
