Indagine COST sulla sperimentazione di Piante Arboree Transgeniche
Su richiesta della dr.ssa Cristina Vettori (CNR - Istituto di Genetica Vegetale, Sesto Fiorentino) si riporta il seguente comunicato:
The COST Action FP0905 Biosafety of forest transgenic trees: improving the scientific basis for safe tree development and implementation of EU policy directives) would like to ask you to complete a short survey (about 10-15 mins) to collect information on field trials (field trial survey) and/or greenhouse experiments (greenhouse survey) of genetically modified forest trees in your country.
In these surveys, GMTs are defined as forest trees or non-forest trees (e.g. some fruit trees) with potential impact on forest ecosystems.
We consider that the information gathered will be beneficial for all of scientists. This kind of up-to-date global-scale information focusing on trees is not available at present. The information will definitely improve networking within the field and also provide science-based information for political decision-makers of the field.
Your contribution is extremely important, Please complete this survey until 31 May 2011 - we are very grateful for your contribution!
Please follow the link below to access the survey:
Kind regards,
Cristina Vettori
