Group leader position in functional plant genomics
Su richiesta del Prof. Massimo Delledonne (Dipartimento di Biotecnologie, Università degli Studi di Verona) si riporta il seguente bando:
The URGV is located on the Evry Genopole Campus in the South of Paris and is a recently established institute specializing on Plant Genomics. The URGV is supported by INRA, CNRS and the University of Evry, occupying laboratories in the same building as the CNS (National Sequencing Center) andthe CNG (National Genotyping Center). The URGV is fully equipped for high-throughput projects (robots, microarray facilities, etc.) and is closely collaborating with the CNS and CNG for large-scale sequencing and genotyping projects. The major goals of the URGV are to apply modern genomic, transcriptomic and proteomic approaches to study model plants such as Arabidopsis thaliana and translate knowledge derived from these investigations to improve performance and stress tolerance of crop plants.
The candidate will be leading a group that is actively developing and applying high throughput transcriptome methods. The future group leader should have ideally also have an interest in bioinformatic approaches and isexpected to develop a research program that is linked to the fields of research of the institute.
